These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Content Mosaic website and the purchase of services offered by Content Mosaic, operated by Kari Gustafson, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. By accessing this site or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
1) Services Content Mosaic provides Shopify store development, French localization, and conversion optimization services for e-commerce brands. Services are delivered as described in the applicable service package or project scope agreed upon via email. All work is founder-led and performed by Content Mosaic directly.
2) Project scope and deliverables The scope of each project is confirmed via email prior to commencement. Any requests outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately. Content Mosaic reserves the right to decline out-of-scope requests that were not part of the original agreement.
3) Payment All flat-fee packages require payment before work begins unless otherwise agreed in writing. Retainer plans are billed monthly. Content Mosaic reserves the right to pause or terminate work if payment is not received on time. All prices are listed in USD.
4) Cancellation and refunds Flat-fee projects may be cancelled before work begins for a full refund. Once work has commenced, refunds are not available for completed work. Retainer plans are month-to-month and may be cancelled with written notice before the next billing cycle. No partial-month refunds are issued.
5) Client responsibilities Clients are responsible for providing timely access to their Shopify store, brand assets, copy, and any other materials required to complete the project. Delays caused by the client may affect project timelines. Content Mosaic is not responsible for delays resulting from missing or late client materials.
6) Intellectual property Upon receipt of full payment, the client owns all deliverables produced specifically for their project. Content Mosaic retains the right to reference the work in its portfolio and marketing materials unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
7) Confidentiality Content Mosaic will keep client business information confidential and will not share it with third parties without consent, except as required by law or to deliver the agreed services.
8) No guarantees Content Mosaic does not guarantee specific SEO rankings, conversion rates, revenue outcomes, or other performance results. All work is delivered according to current best practices, but results depend on many factors outside our control.
9) Legal and compliance Content Mosaic is not a lawyer and does not provide legal advice. Clients are solely responsible for ensuring their Shopify store complies with applicable laws, including Quebec's Bill 96, EU regulations, GDPR, and any other relevant legislation. Any policy pages or legal copy provided are for general informational purposes only and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel.
10) Limitation of liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Content Mosaic's liability for any claim arising from services provided is limited to the amount paid for the specific project or service in question. Content Mosaic is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11) Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Minnesota.
12) Changes to these terms Content Mosaic may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
